As a Lead Platform Engineer – Agentic AI, you will take overall responsibility for agentic AI strategies and their implementation on Azure.

Job description

Want to take AI from chatbots to autonomous agents?

As Lead Agentic AI Engineer, you will define roadmaps for agentic solutions, evaluate new technologies, and lead teams to develop intelligent assistants that solve real business problems. Technology is evolving rapidly—multi-agent systems, reflection loops, RAG, and ReAct are no longer just research topics. With us, you'll be at the forefront and responsible for ethical, secure, and scalable AI platforms.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of the Agentic AI strategy: definition of blueprints (Discover → Compose → Deploy → Evaluate), selection of suitable models and frameworks, and evaluation of Azure services and open-source innovations

  • Technical and organizational management of projects: coordination of multiple teams (AI engineering, data engineering, product) to deliver enterprise-wide Agentic solutions

  • Establishment of a strong governance structure: risk assessments, security policies, privacy and security controls, and training

  • Strategic partnering: Advising customers and internal stakeholders on integrating agents into business processes; participating in pre-sales and technical conferences

  • Promoting diversity, inclusion, and talent development within the team; coaching and performance management

  • Evaluating new technologies (e.g., GraphRAG, LangGraph, AutoGen, agent swarm protocols) and integrating them into product roadmaps

What we offer you

  • Flexible working: Trust-based working hours and remote/hybrid model, provided you are based in Germany

  • State-of-the-art tech stack: Access to Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, LangChain & LangGraph and our data lakehouse (Delta Lake, Fabric)

  • Investment in your future: Budget for AI training, certifications, and conference attendance; participation in research projects

  • Diversity & Purpose: We actively promote diversity, equality, and inclusion; our projects support sustainable and socially relevant goals

  • Leadership influence: You will shape technical strategies, establish governance processes, and drive innovation in a rapidly growing team

As a dynamic company, we encourage independent work, continuous learning, and a culture where everyone can contribute ideas. If you want to be at the forefront of Agentic AI development while experiencing a work environment that combines transparency, diversity, and well-being, we look forward to receiving your application!

Job requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, platform architecture, or product leadership; several years of responsibility for complex AI projects

  • In-depth expertise in multi-agent architectures, LLM orchestration, RAG, API integration, security, and compliance

  • Successful leadership experience, including strategic planning, change management, and stakeholder management

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, innovative spirit, and strong communication skills—in German and English

  • Enthusiasm for diversity and inclusion and willingness to actively shape inclusive cultures
